RED HANDED

Same product.Different story.We keep receipts.

RED HANDED is the PriceProof vision for price evidence shoppers can use: keep a record over time, match the product and package, and make the context clear enough to share.

A concept in progress. No live retailer prices or findings are shown here.

The evidence standard

A number alone tells you almost nothing.

A useful price record needs the right product, a date, and the details around the observation. That’s the bar RED HANDED is being built toward.

01 Match

Same item. Same package.

Product identity and package size matter. A smaller box or a different model changes the comparison.

02 Record

Date and source stay attached.

The plan starts with a browser extension and photographed shelf prices.

03 Compare

Context before a verdict.

A different price can be a clue. It takes more evidence to explain why it changed.

The fine print matters

A discrepancy is a question. Not an accusation.

Online prices can vary between shoppers and devices. A price difference alone doesn’t prove why it happened. RED HANDED aims to keep observations attached to their context, so comparisons can be careful and shareable.

Prices don’t lie here.

We’re working toward a clearer record of what things cost. The first job: get the evidence right.
